Project Manager (Full Time)

 Status: Exempt | Revised: September 2021

Responsible for a large project or several small projects as the person responsible for managing construction and representing the company.  Effectively lead, direct and motivate Project Engineers and Project Foreman assigned to your projects.

Other Duties / Functions (Not limited to):

  • Ensures safe working conditions

  • Overall project planning, scheduling, budgeting, billing, organizing & controlling

  • Contract Review

  • Subcontract Review

  • Vendor/sub negotiation

  • Control manpower & equipment requirements on job(s)

  • Monthly projections

  • Monthly CPM scheduling updates

  • Conduct weekly project team meetings

  • Generate & update cost reports

  • Maintain client relationships

  • Project Engineer duties when a Project Engineer is not assigned

Qualification Requirements:

  • Engineering, Construction Management degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry

  • Knowledge of the construction industry

  • Construction cost engineering, estimating, scheduling & project management skills

  • Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing

  • Must be able to motivate and lead project teams
